Carrier verification for freight factors
Know your carrier.
Pay the right one.
CarrierKYC proves the person onboarding actually controls the carrier and that the bank account belongs to it. Then it re-verifies every remit-to change before your next ACH goes out.
Built for factoring companies with 1 to 50 people. Early access, founding pricing.
Check a carrier on live FMCSA data
Public data can't confirm who is applying or who owns the bank account. That's what Verified Payee adds.
The fraud moved
Carrier checks verify the company. The money goes wherever the person says.
SAFER, monitoring tools and vetting scores tell you a USDOT number is real and insured. None of them tell you the person on the phone is an officer, or that the account on the voided check belongs to the carrier. That's the gap fraudsters now work.

How Verified Payee works
Four checks between an application and an ACH
01
Send a branded onboarding link
The carrier opens your link on a phone. We pull FMCSA authority, insurance, revocation, and out-of-service data for the USDOT they claim.
02
Prove the person is the carrier
ID document and selfie, matched to the company officers on file with FMCSA. A dispatcher with a stolen MC number fails here.
03
Prove the account is the carrier's
Bank login and account-holder identity, matched to the carrier's legal name. No voided-check photos, no personal accounts slipping through.
04
Re-verify every payee change
When a "we changed banks" request arrives, payment holds and the verified officer re-proves identity before a dollar moves to the new account.
The attack it stops
“We changed banks. Please update remit-to before Friday.”
The email looks right, the carrier is real, and the request is urgent. In the demo, watch the payment hold, the re-verification go to the officer you verified at onboarding, and the impostor fail the selfie match.

FMCSA Motus explained for factors and brokers
Motus replaced FMCSA's old registration systems in May 2026. Here is what changed, what didn't, and how it affects the way you check a carrier.
From the founder
Lenders solved “is this really the borrower?” years ago. Factors deserve the same tools.
I'm Isaac Welch. I've spent more than eight years building borrower verification, underwriting, and payments systems for lenders, and I build RAVEN for community banks. CarrierKYC brings that verification engine to freight factoring, starting with the two questions that decide where your money goes: who is this person, and whose account is this?
For factoring companies
Stop paying the wrong account.
CarrierKYC verifies that the person onboarding controls the carrier and that the bank account belongs to it, then re-verifies every remit-to change before the next ACH. Free 60-day pilot for small factors.
